Hello Sexual Deviants!

So, a little bit about myself and how I started this blog? Ok.

First with the name- "beautyazade" may sound a little strange but it stems from an online nickname I've used for a long time. That's right, AliceAzade. That itself came from an old friend of mine who's name is Luke. I obviously called him Lukeazade sometimes. So he resorted to calling me AliceAzade because he's so imaginative. I liked it and it stuck!

Why I started this blog? Well, I've always loved makeup. In particular, eyeshadow has long been my favourite and I love doing different eyeshadow looks. The more dramatic, the better. Then a few years ago I discovered nail art and decided that right then was a good time to stop biting my nails and grow them so I could paint them pretty. Haven't bitten my nails since and I was very addicted to it. Habit stopped just like that!

I started this blog because I've always loved writing and I'm actually working on a couple of novels. I figured a blog would be a good way to practise writing, the act of getting my thoughts down. I do have another blog (which you can check out here) that is dedicated to fiction writing, so this one is for beauty, thoughts and the comedic ramblings of someone who just thinks she's funny.

Prior to all this I studied Theatre at University because it was something I enjoyed, but my career could have gone very differently. I've always been fascinated by biology, in particular virology, so in a parallel universe I may well be writing an article for a scientific journal right now!
